At Wuf Pet Resort & Spa, we want to offer your dog the same relaxed environment with comfortable surroundings and service tailored to his or her needs. Wüf provides a one-stop shop for pampering your dog. We offer dog daycare, boarding, and grooming/spa services.

Our staff is dedicated to providing the same personal attention you – and your dog – have come to expect. When your dog is a guest at Wüf, we’ll give him one-on-one attention, structured play time, and turn down service with a signature Wüf treat at the end of each day. Plus, we have a full menu of first-class spa services from an invigorating bath and body scrub to pedicures and massages. But don’t worry – your dog will still be happy to see you when you get back.

Admission

Wüf Pet Resort & Spa reserves the right to deny admittance to pets without proof of current vaccinations, and/or pets displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions.

Vaccinations

     

    • Rabies
    • Distemper
    • Parvo
    • Leptospirosis
    • Bordatella
      (every 6 months)
    • Flea/Tick Treatment

     

All dogs four months of age and older must have received the rabies vaccination. The “distemper” vaccine protects your dog against five or six viral diseases, including canine distemper and parvovirus. This vaccine is required, since these diseases can be life-threatening to unvaccinated dogs. Bordetella or kennel cough vaccination is particularly vital for all dogs in a boarding or day care situation, since this infection is airborne and quite common where dogs are housed together or play together. Leptospirosis vaccination is also critical in preventing a disease which can be transmitted between dogs as well as from dogs to humans.

Additionally, we require that you maintain a year-round treatment for ticks and fleas in order to protect the facility from any contamination and thus protect all of the pets. We recommend topical solutions such as Advantix and Frontline, which are available over-the-counter. Please talk to your veterinarian about your options and frequency of treatment.

Spayed/Neutered and Other Health Conditions

All pets not spayed or neutered will be admitted into our daycare play time on a case-by-case criteria.

Females that are “in season” are not allowed to participate in group play time.

We offer an individual daycare room for dogs who do not meet our daycare requirements.

Pets that have stitches, bandages or have broken bones may not attend daycare. If your pet has had recent surgery, please consult with your vet to find out how long your pet must rest before attending Wüf’s play sessions.

Medications can be administered in a pill or ointment form at $1 per dispersion.

We cannot administer shots or injections.

Rates, Services, and Reservations

All rates and services are subject to availability and change.

During Holiday stays, a deposit may be collected to ensure your pet’s spot.

Drop-off and Pick-up Hours

We are open to the public 7 days a week except for major holidays. Our hours are as follows:

    • Monday – Friday 6:45am to 7pm
    • Saturday: 9am to 5pm
    • Sunday: 11am to 7pm

    Extended hour pick-ups are available upon request and must be made at the time reservations are requested.

    Check out time is 1 p.m. Any pets picked up after 1 p.m. will be charged half the room rate their pet stays in.

    Pick-up is required by 7pm Monday-Friday and 5pm on Saturday. Dogs in our care after 7pm Monday-Friday or 5pm Saturday are admitted for boarding and boarding rates will apply.

    Daycare, Boarding and Day Spa Cancellations

    We request 24-hour notification by telephone for cancellation of spa services, so that we may reschedule without charging for missed appointments. We request 48-hour notification by telephone for cancellation of boarding reservations.

    Food

    In order to maintain a consistent environment for your pet, we suggest you bring the food you feed your pet daily at home. Please bring all servings in marked containers and bags, marked with specific feeding instructions. Our house blend of food is designed for sensitive stomachs and is ideal in boarding situations, where new stimuli may cause digestive upset in some pets.

    We administer our high-quality house food for $2 per feeding.

    Emergencies

    In the rare case of an emergency, we contact you, your veterinarian, and contact our veterinarian on call. Our pet care professionals will use their best judgment to determine the best course of action to take, depending on the nature of the injury or ailment.

    If your pet receives a non emergency scratch, scrape or bite we will clean your pet’s wound and alert you. Many of our employees are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. Should your pet require emergency medical assistance, Wüf Pet Resort & Spa relies on a 24-hour emergency medical clinic nearby.

    Signature

    Upon admission for services, your signature of contract acknowledges your awareness and acceptance of our policies. Thank you for your trust in allowing us to care for your pet, a member of your family and of ours.
